You have definitely walked past it, you may have even been in before – but that would have been before the pandemic. For those who have yet to find out, Andy’s Burgers is a hot new burger restaurant that has taken it’s rightful place on the Mile End Rd – they are now all set to serve the community again with their self proclaimed ‘best bangin burgers in East London’…
Nestled between Stepney Green Station and Queen Mary University – Andy’s Burgers is a cool burger bar style venue that is both welcoming and comfortable. Their ‘bangin burgers’ are touted as the best in East London (they say ‘come in and try if you don’t believe it!’).
After launching in early February, before the peak of the pandemic, Andy’s soon attracted a steady foot fall of visitors and locals – gaining a reputation amongst the Queen Mary University crowd and local residents alike. They were fast becoming a local hang out.
Due to COVID 19, they had to shut their doors to protect their staff (many of whom were from the local community). Now reopened, Andy’s Burgers are promising to come back stronger than ever before. We asked Andy’s what we can expect from them now:
“We launched at the beginning of the year with one concept, to serve good food – finest quality ingredients, cooked on the day – to good people. I’m an East Londoner, born and bred so making sure our food is locally sourced and our staff came from the local community was always going to be a priority for us. We had to shut our doors to protect our staff, but we are now back and ready to start again with safe pick ups and deliveries too.”
What are the best sellers for those who fancy a burger?:
“All of our food is fresh and of the finest quality. We have a veg burger, our meat is HMC certified and our fish burger is seriously good! So we hope we can provide something for anyone who has a craving for a good quality burger meal. Our best seller is our beef burger – we use a bespoke blend of 100% beef cuts from free range grass fed British Hereford red cows. We cook our beef burgers to medium well-done perfection and they’re served with our freshly baked egg glazed white bread. We have a range of sauces for you to try from truffle mayo to our famous jerk sauce and chilli jam. We now have a beef hotdog that is just about to go up on the menu too – we are so excited about being open again and can’t wait to serve you all!”
