Did you know it is Black History Month?
Every October, Black History Month is an opportunity to commemorate the lives and contributions of all those with African or Caribbean descent to contemporary British Society. It really is the perfect time to learn more about the many contributions both African and Caribbean culture has made to Britain – and to the world!
From photography exhibitions and art, to poetry and gospel music, you will not be short of things to peak your interest this Black History Month. There is just so much going on in Tower Hamlets and of course Mile End.
